Price is based on TWO 30 minute long visits to your home per day. This price includes checking in, letting your dog out to play/go potty, replenishing food/water & spending quality time with your dog. An additional $5 charge will apply for administering medications.

Price is based on TWO 30 min long visits to your home per day. If you require an additional visit, an additional $10 charge will apply. This service includes checking in, cleaning/replenishing litter, food/water, and spending quality time with your cat. If combined with Dog Check-In, this service is discounted. Ask for details!

the Owner
Hi! My name is Jess, and I'm the owner of Bark n' Board, LLC. When I started dog sitting professionally in 2019, I had no clue the impact that it would have on me. My husband was gone for months for work, and I needed something to do that I cared about. I have always loved animals. I thought, what better way to feel purpose outside of being "mom" than cuddling as many floofy friends as possible! Very quickly, I realized that this was hard work. People are trusting me with their pride and joys, I'm not just here to give snuggles (though, that is arguably the most important part). Over the years, I have administered medications (topical, eye drops, by mouth - you name it), I've changed doggy diapers, taken dogs to appointments, cuddled them to sleep in thunder storms, checked on kitties, and chased dogs around the yard - and I've loved it! Not only that, I've taken care of owners too (and they've taken care of me). I've given hugs at the door because they are on the way to a funeral, I've taken care of stuffed doggies with their real doggies, we've shared recipes, been to birthday parties, referred other small businesses out, and so much more. I truly enjoy and take pride in my job. My husband served 16 years in the military - so I understand sudden changes in schedules and having to leave on short notice. Finding somewhere for your pets to go whether you leave for work or on vacation can be equally stressful. I'm here to make sure your pets feel AT HOME and are not just a name on a kennel card. We don't do that here. This is home away from home.
